Flower Delivery Maroochydore: Gift Hampers, Plants, Wedding Floral Arrangements
If you are as fortunate as we are and can call Maroochydore home, no doubt you also share our love for all the flowers that surround us here and along the Sunshine Coast throughout the year. Here at i-Blossom, we strive to make the best use of our local flowers and leaves to create exquisite arrangements for all occasions and we deliver them to the door at the requested time.
An all-white bridal bouquet could have lilies of the valley, representing trustworthiness and purity, sweet William for gallantry, hyacinths for loveliness, myrtle for love in marriage, and ivy for continuity. All together, these flowers express hope for a loving, lasting marriage.
i-Blossom are able to provide flowers to suit all tastes: from roses, either in a bouquet or as an exquisite centrepiece for the dining table, extravagant and colourful arrangements to enhance the most lavish event, sweet baby gifts, one-off pieces produced together with the client to very specific requirements. Whatever you choose, we will work with you to realise your vision. Of course weddings are special, and we design with the bridal party to ensure a perfect selection of flowers on that big day.
Bluebells for kindness and rosemary for remembrance
The language of flowers is important, and so are the colours used. Peonies indicate romance, prosperity, good fortune, a happy marriage, riches, honour, and compassion as well as shyness; sunflowers are for adoration, loyalty and longevity; tulips, particularly red ones, are for perfect love, irises indicate faith, hope, wisdom, courage, and admiration, but here the colour is also symbolic: purple for wisdom, blue for faith and hope, yellow for passion. Confused? That is just the beginning!
‘Pink carnations mean “I’ll never forget you”; red “my heart aches for you”; purple capriciousness; white carnations are for “the sweet and lovely”, and yellow ones mean romantic rejection.’
There are also many superstitions related to flowers: marigolds and anemones were associated with witchcraft in the Middle Ages and thus considered evil; when giving poppies, one must give 13 stems as any more or any less may be a harbinger of bad luck — and never present a bouquet to a performer before a performance, only after the event or you are wishing them a flop.
It’s a minefield and you need to be guided through it by an expert.
